About the Role
We are seeking experienced retired professionals from the construction, civil engineering, project management, government engineering departments, public works, educational infrastructure, or real estate sectors to provide strategic guidance and technical oversight for our upcoming School Building Construction and Retirement Home Development projects.
The role is designed for highly experienced individuals who wish to continue contributing their expertise on a flexible basis while mentoring project teams and ensuring quality, compliance, and cost-effective execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Advisory
- Review project plans, designs, layouts, and construction schedules.
- Provide expert guidance during project conceptualization and execution.
- Assist management in making informed decisions on construction methodologies.
- Recommend cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
Technical Oversight
- Monitor construction progress and adherence to approved drawings.
- Advise on structural, civil, electrical, plumbing, and infrastructure requirements.
- Review contractor performance and workmanship quality.
- Identify potential project risks and suggest mitigation measures.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Conduct periodic site inspections and quality audits.
- Recommend improvements in construction practices and material selection.
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Participate in contractor evaluation and selection processes.
- Review quotations, technical specifications, and BOQs.
- Assist in resolving technical disputes with contractors and vendors.
Cost & Timeline Monitoring
- Monitor project budgets and timelines.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Review project milestones and advise on corrective actions when delays occur.
Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing
- Guide site engineers, supervisors, and project teams.
- Share industry best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
- Support the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Regulatory & Compliance Support
- Advise on approvals, permits, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and government authorities when required.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Master's Degree preferred but not mandatory.
- 20–40+ years of relevant experience in construction and infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in large-scale building projects.
- Strong understanding of construction quality, project management, and statutory compliance.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
