Foundry Senior Supervisor
Location: Silvassa, Dadra & Nagar Haveli
Experience: 12–15 Years
Qualification: BE / B.Tech / ITI / Diploma / in Mechanical, Metallurgy or related field
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Foundry Senior Supervisor to manage day-to-day shop-floor activities in a non-ferrous foundry. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Machine Moulding and Shell Moulding, along with good knowledge of production, manpower handling, quality and casting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily foundry production and shop-floor activities.
- Manage Machine Moulding and Shell Moulding operations.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule.
- Supervise and allocate manpower effectively.
- Monitor mould preparation, pouring and casting processes.
- Identify and control common casting defects and reduce rejection.
- Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance teams for process-related issues.
- Ensure proper machine utilization and smooth production flow.
- Maintain discipline, safety and housekeeping on the shop floor.
- Monitor process parameters and take corrective action when required.
- Train and guide operators and workers.
- Prepare/maintain production-related records and reports.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Non-Ferrous Foundry Operations
- Hands-on knowledge of Machine Moulding
- Hands-on knowledge of Shell Moulding
- Good understanding of casting processes and defects
- Manpower handling and team supervision
- Production target management
- Problem-solving and shop-floor coordination
- Good communication and leadership skills
Preferred Candidate
Candidates with strong practical experience in Aluminium, Copper, Brass, Bronze or other non-ferrous casting operations will be preferred.
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Silvassa, Daman and Diu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
