Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant with 1-3 years of experience to handle accounting operations, invoicing, inventory-related documentation, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting software, GST compliance, GRN processing, delivery challans, and customer/vendor accounting.
Candidates from manufacturing industries and local candidates from Howrah, Kolkata, Ghusuri, and nearby areas will be preferred.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance
- Record day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally Prime/ERP.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare payment vouchers, receipt vouchers, and journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and customer/vendor ledger reconciliations.
- Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Assist in preparing monthly MIS and financial reports.
Inventory & Documentation
- Prepare and process Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
- Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and GRNs.
- Generate customer invoices and delivery challans.
- Record purchase, sales, and inventory-related accounting entries.
- Coordinate with Stores and Procurement teams for stock reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate documentation and accounting records.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and inventory accounting.
- Experience in GRN preparation, invoicing, and delivery challans.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, Busy, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Reports).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- B.Com or equivalent degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
- M.Com or relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in Accounting.
- Experience in manufacturing, trading, or inventory-based businesses preferred.
- Hands-on experience with accounting entries, invoicing, GRN, and inventory documentation preferred.
