Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our jewellery business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling daily accounting activities, preparing reports, managing inventory-related accounting, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting records, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare and reconcile cash, bank, and ledger accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain accurate records of gold, diamond, silver, and other jewellery inventory transactions.
- Process customer invoices, vendor payments, and purchase entries.
- Prepare GST returns, TDS, and other statutory compliance reports.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly closing reports.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and tax consultants during audits and statutory filings.
- Monitor inventory valuation and stock reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
- Support payroll processing and employee reimbursement activities.
- Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in jewellery showroom accounting preferred.
- Knowledge of jewellery inventory management and stock reconciliation.
- Familiarity with POS billing systems and ERP software.
- Experience handling gold purchase, sales accounting, and inventory valuation.
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
