We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Merchandiser to manage the end-to-end merchandising process, ensuring timely execution of orders while maintaining quality, cost, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with buyers, suppliers, production teams, and quality departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete merchandising cycle from order confirmation to shipment.
- Coordinate with international buyers and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Develop and execute production plans to ensure on-time delivery.
- Source materials and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost and quality targets.
- Monitor order progress, production schedules, and shipment timelines.
- Collaborate with design, sampling, production, quality, and logistics teams.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Track critical paths and proactively resolve production or delivery issues.
- Prepare costing, quotations, and order documentation.
- Analyze sales, production, and inventory data to improve business performance.
- Mentor and guide junior merchandisers and support team development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Textile, Apparel, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of merchandising experience, with at least 3 years in a senior merchandising role.
- Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing, sourcing, production planning, and export documentation.
- Experience working with international buyers and global brands.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and work under tight deadlines.
