Position: Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth, expand market presence, and manage channel partners within the assigned territory. The candidate should have strong experience in sales, distribution management, dealer network development, and team handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, dealers, and key accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the distribution network.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Execute sales and marketing initiatives to increase market share.
- Ensure product availability and visibility across the territory.
- Manage and guide the sales team to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct regular market visits and dealer meetings.
- Analyze sales reports and prepare business performance reviews.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy receivables.
- Coordinate with internal departments for smooth business operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Sales/Channel Sales/Distribution Sales.
- Strong knowledge of mobile, telecom, consumer electronics, or FMCG distribution business.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting, and sales analytics.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with mobile handset brands, telecom products, accessories, or consumer electronics distribution.
- Experience in handling distributors and retail channel sales.
