RESTAURANT HR MANAGER
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Restaurant HR Manager to oversee all Human Resources functions across our restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, compliance, training, and ensuring a positive work culture while supporting business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for restaurant staff, including Managers, Captains, Kitchen Staff, Bakers, Cashiers, and Support Staff.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Coordinate employee joining formalities, documentation, and induction programs.
- Monitor staff attendance, leave records, shift schedules, and overtime.
- Handle payroll inputs and coordinate with the Accounts department for salary processing.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, PF, ESIC, and statutory requirements.
- Address employee grievances and maintain healthy employee relations.
- Organize staff engagement activities and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support career development initiatives.
- Identify training needs and arrange skill development programs.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases accurately.
- Coordinate with Restaurant Managers and departmental heads for manpower planning.
- Prepare HR reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
Qualification
- Graduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
- 3-8 years of HR experience, preferably in Restaurants, Hotels, Cafés, QSRs, or Hospitality Industry.
- Strong knowledge of Labour Laws, PF, ESIC, Payroll, and Statutory Compliance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS software.
