Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Equipment Availability & Reliability
Ensure maximum uptime of production machinery.
Monitor and improve MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
Reduce MTTR (Mean Time To Repair).
Achieve targeted machine availability percentage.
2. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
Plan and execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules.
Implement predictive maintenance techniques (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, etc.).
Ensure 100% adherence to maintenance schedules.
Maintain PM records and history sheets.
3. Breakdown Management
Attend and resolve breakdowns within defined TAT.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures.
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Minimize production loss due to equipment failure.
4. Cost Control & Budget Management
Control maintenance expenses within approved budget.
Optimize spare parts inventory and consumption.
Reduce emergency purchases.
Improve cost efficiency through repair vs replacement analysis.
5. Spare Parts & Inventory Management
Maintain critical spares list.
Ensure minimum stock level for critical components.
Coordinate with stores and purchase for timely procurement.
Avoid stock-outs and overstocking.
6. Safety & Compliance
Ensure adherence to safety standards and SOPs.
Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Promote safe maintenance practices (LOTO, PPE usage).
7. Continuous Improvement
Drive Kaizen, TPM, and 5S initiatives.
Improve machine efficiency (OEE improvement).
Identify automation or modification opportunities.
Participate in energy-saving initiatives.
8. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain maintenance logs and equipment history.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly maintenance reports.
Analyze downtime trends and present improvement plans.
Update SOPs and maintenance manuals.
9. Team Coordination & Vendor Management
Supervise technicians and contractors.
Train junior staff on troubleshooting and safety.
Coordinate with production team for maintenance planning.
Manage AMC vendors and service providers.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
