Key Responsibilities
- Employee Data Management: Collect, verify, and store personal details, employment records, and mandatory eligibility documentation securely.
- Payroll & Benefits Administration: Process salaries, calculate wages, withhold taxes, and track attendance. Manage perks like health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Oversee job postings, applicant screening, interviews, and new-hire orientation.
- Performance Management: Coordinate performance appraisals, set employee expectations, and identify training or upskilling needs.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure the company adheres strictly to employment laws, safety regulations, and tax compliance. Generate regular HR reports and analytics.
- Offboarding: Manage exit interviews, process final pay, revoke system access, and ensure a smooth transfer of responsibilities
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Technical: Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems), MS Excel, and basic payroll software.
- Knowledge: Understanding of labor laws, statutory benefits (such as PF, ESI, and gratuity if applicable), and HR policies.
- Soft Skills: High level of confidentiality, strong communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Background: Often requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR (MBA) or a related field (e.g., m.com), combined with relevant industry experience
