Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced MEP Design Coordinator to oversee and integrate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering designs across all project phases. You will bridge the gap between design consultants, architects, structural engineers, and site teams to ensure MEP systems are fully coordinated, spatially aligned, error-free, and compliant with project specifications and building codes.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate, review, and integrate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design drawings across all stages of project execution.
Perform clash detection and spatial coordination between MEP services, structural elements, and architectural layouts using BIM/CAD tools.
Review consultant submissions, shop drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical submittals for accuracy and design intent.
Organize and lead design coordination meetings with MEP consultants, architects, contractors, and project managers to resolve design conflicts.
Track design changes, manage technical queries (RFIs), and update MEP design logs and master documentation. Ensure all MEP design layouts conform to relevant local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in MEP design coordination, drafting, or BIM modeling. High proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP; familiarity with Navisworks for clash detection is a strong advantage. Solid understanding of building systems (HVAC, fire fighting, electrical distribution, drainage, and water supply). Strong communication, technical problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Pay: ₹22,565.95 - ₹60,770.84 per month
