To plan and deliver Physical Education lessons, promoting fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles among students.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Physical Education classes for different age groups.
- Teach a variety of sports, fitness, and movement activities.
- Encourage teamwork, fair play, leadership, and sportsmanship.
- Assess student participation, performance, and progress.
- Organise inter-house, inter-school, and sports day events.
- Maintain sports equipment and ensure safety standards during activities.
- Work closely with academic and pastoral teams to support student development.
- Communicate with parents regarding student progress and participation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate or Postgraduate Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications and a passion for teaching are also encouraged to apply.
- Teaching experience in a school environment is preferred.
- Experience with Cambridge, IB, CBSE, or ICSE curricula will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of multiple sports, fitness programmes, and physical training activities.
- Energetic, disciplined, and student-focused with strong communication skills.
