Job Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, handle billing and invoicing, and coordinate with the CA firm for taxation and compliance work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain records of payments, receipts, vendor bills, and customer accounts
- Prepare and manage invoices, billing, and customer statements
- Update accounting entries in Tally accurately and on time
- Follow up with credit customers for outstanding payments
- Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and account balances
- Coordinate with CA firm for GST, TDS, income tax, and audits
- Maintain proper documentation of all financial records
- Prepare basic financial reports for management
- Handle communication with customers and vendors regarding payments
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of daily transactions
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Tally and basic accounting principles
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, billing, and taxation basics
- Proficiency in MS Excel and email communication
- Strong follow-up and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple accounts
Preference:
- Experience in accounting, billing, and payment follow-ups
- Experience in trading, IT supply, or service-based companies preferred
- Responsible, disciplined, and detail-oriented professional
