We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented PDI In-Charge to manage and supervise the Pre-Delivery Inspection process, ensuring all vehicles meet quality, safety, and presentation standards before delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the complete PDI process for vehicles.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical, electrical, cosmetic, and functional issues.
- Ensure all PDI activities are completed as per company standards and checklists.
- Coordinate with technicians, service advisors, sales, and delivery teams.
- Identify defects and ensure timely rectification before vehicle delivery.
- Maintain accurate PDI records, inspection reports, and documentation.
- Monitor vehicle readiness and ensure delivery schedules are met.
- Conduct final quality checks before handing over vehicles to customers.
- Maintain proper coordination with the workshop and parts departments.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures.
- Lead and guide the PDI team to achieve quality and productivity targets.
Requirements:
- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in automobile PDI, workshop, or service operations.
- Good knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and quality inspection.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vehicles and tasks efficiently.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
