Job Title: Junior Accountant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fresher to join our US Accounts Payable team. The candidate will assist in processing vendor invoices, maintaining financial records, and supporting accounts payable operations for US-based clients while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify vendor invoices accurately and timely.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documents.
- Assist in preparing and processing vendor payments.
- Maintain vendor records and resolve invoice-related queries.
- Reconcile vendor statements and identify discrepancies.
- Ensure proper documentation and record keeping.
- Support month-end closing activities and AP reporting.
- Coordinate with US-based stakeholders and internal teams as required.
Requirements:
- B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting concepts.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills.
- Willingness to work from 3 PM to 1 AM.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Accounts Payable processes.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks is an advantage.
- Freshers with good accounting knowledge are encouraged to apply.
