Maintaining Cleanliness: Stewards are responsible for keeping the dining area, kitchen, and other service areas clean and sanitary. This includes washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, and ensuring that all surfaces are free from dirt and debris.
Assisting with Food Preparation: They may assist in basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables or preparing ingredients, to support the kitchen staff.
Customer Service: Stewards greet customers, take their orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure that guests have a pleasant dining experience. They may also refill drinks and respond to customer inquiries.
Setting and Clearing Tables: They are responsible for setting tables before guests arrive, which includes arranging tableware and decorations, and clearing tables after customers leave to prepare for the next guests.
Stocking Supplies Stewards ensure that all service stations are well-stocked with necessary items such as napkins, utensils, and condiments. They may also assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
Administrative Tasks: In some settings, stewards may perform basic administrative duties, such as answering phones, taking reservations, and providing information to guests.
Safety and Sanitation Compliance: They must adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring that all sanitation standards are met in the kitchen and dining areas.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
