A Production Supervisor in a plastic manufacturing unit oversees daily operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are met. Key responsibilities include supervising machine operators, coordinating maintenance, managing workflow, reducing waste, and generating shift reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Management: Achieve daily/shift production targets (injection/blow moulding) while monitoring machine performance.
- Quality Control: Ensure product quality, reduce rejection rates, and address non-conforming parts.
- Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and schedule operators and technicians.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve production, material, or machinery issues immediately.
- Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance for routine, preventative, and breakdown maintenance of machines.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce company, health, and environmental safety regulations on the production floor.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely shift reports and production data.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Plastics Technology (CIPET), Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 2-3 years in a plastic moulding environment (injection/blow moulding).
- Skills: Technical proficiency in plastic moulding processes, strong leadership, troubleshooting abilities, and knowledge of moulding machine.
- Salary criteria 20,000 to 25000
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
