About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Shopify Developer with hands-on experience in building, customizing, and maintaining e-commerce websites. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Shopify development, theme customization, app integrations, and e-commerce best practices to create high-performing online stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores and themes.
- Build responsive, user-friendly, and high-converting e-commerce websites.
- Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs.
- Integrate third-party apps, payment gateways, shipping solutions, and other Shopify applications.
- Optimize website speed, performance, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs and technical issues.
- Implement custom functionalities based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with designers, marketing teams, and project managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and compatible across browsers.
- Perform regular website maintenance, updates, and security checks.
- Work with product catalogs, collections, inventory, and order management systems.
- Optimize conversion rates through improved UI/UX and website performance.
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of experience in Shopify Development.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid templating language.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6), jQuery.
- Experience with Shopify APIs, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub version control.
- Experience integrating payment gateways and third-party Shopify apps.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.
- Knowledge of website speed optimization techniques.
- Understanding of SEO best practices for e-commerce websites.
- Experience with Shopify Plus is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with D2C or e-commerce brands.
- Knowledge of React.js or Next.js is an advantage.
- Familiarity with WordPress development is a plus.
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and conversion tracking.
- Experience with Klaviyo, Judge.me, Recharge, or other Shopify ecosystem apps is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Shopify development are an added advantage.
