About the Role
We are looking for an organised and reliable accountant cum billing executive to handle our daily store billing, counter cash management, and basic accounting tasks. In this role, you will ensure smooth checkout experiences for our customers while keeping accurate financial records and maintaining daily accounts.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily Financial Transactions: Accurately record and manage day-to-day financial entries, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Ledgers & Journals: Maintain and update general ledgers, subsidiary books, and journal entries regularly to ensure clean financial records.
- Billing & E-Way Bills: Handle customer billing smoothly and generate E-Way bills for shipments and dispatches as required.
- Cash & Register Management: Handle cash counters and reconcile daily cash collections, UPI, and card payments accurately.
- Financial Statements & Reports: Assist in preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
- Taxation & Compliance: Coordinate basic GST filing, tax documentation, and support income tax record-keeping.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Minimum Graduation (B.Com / M.Com or a relevant degree in Commerce/Accounting is preferred).
- Experience: 0 to 1 year of experience in billing, store accounts, or general accounting roles (freshers with a strong commerce background are welcome).
- Skills:
- Good computer skills and familiarity with billing software or Tally/Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy with numbers, and trustworthiness.
- Polite, professional communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude.
- Location: Candidates from nearby places within a 5–10 kilometre radius are preferred.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
