Kiln Operator – Cement Plant
Job Summary
The Kiln Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and controlling the cement kiln and associated equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous clinker production while maintaining product quality and complying with safety and environmental standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor kiln, preheater, cooler, and auxiliary systems from the Central Control Room (CCR) or field.
- Maintain stable kiln operation parameters such as temperature, pressure, feed rate, fuel consumption, and draft.
- Optimize clinker production while minimizing energy consumption and operational disturbances.
- Coordinate with raw mill, coal mill, and cement mill operators for smooth plant operation.
- Monitor process trends and take corrective actions during process abnormalities.
- Ensure proper startup, shutdown, and emergency handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain required clinker quality standards and production targets.
Equipment Monitoring
- Inspect kiln system equipment and report abnormalities or maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams during breakdowns and planned shutdowns.
- Monitor refractory condition, burner performance, and cooler efficiency.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
