Job Overview:
The incumbent will play a key role in managing day-to-day operations with network farmers, ensuring alignment with procurement plans. The role also involves monitoring disease prevention, quality, and yield improvement programs, with a focus on enhancing productivity and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations with network farmers to ensure smooth execution of procurement plans.
- Monitor and manage the plantation schedule, providing regular updates in collaboration with the operations team.
- Implement and track quality improvement and yield enhancement programs across all network farms.
- Coordinate with the planning team to address any issues impacting harvesting schedules or sales targets.
- Lead projects focused on improving procurement practices and expanding the network of farmers in line with business objectives.
- Handle farmer grievances promptly, ensuring efficient resolution and maintaining strong relationships.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Agricultural Science or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in contract farming operations, with hands-on experience in fieldwork.
- Knowledge of organic, regenerative, or pesticide-free farming methods is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in English, Hindi, and the local language(s).
- Strong computer skills, especially in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
