We are looking for an experienced Print Design Specialist who understands the complete print production process — not just design software. The ideal candidate should be able to create print-ready files with correct technical specifications for offset/digital printing. Key Responsibilities: Design and prepare print-ready files for books, brochures, catalogues, packaging, and other print materials Set up book covers with accurate spine width calculations based on page count and paper GSM Prepare files with correct bleed, trim, safe margins, and CMYK color mode Understand paper types, GSM, and printing techniques (offset, digital, screen printing) Coordinate with printing press/vendors for proofing and production Troubleshoot pre-press issues (color mismatch, resolution, registration, etc.) Manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience with CorelDRAW and Adobe Photoshop (Illustrator/InDesign a plus) Solid understanding of print production workflow — this is mandatory, not optional Knowledge of book cover layout, spine calculation, bleed/trim/safe area setup Understanding of color modes (CMYK), resolution requirements, and file formats for print (PDF/X, AI, EPS) Good communication skills to coordinate with clients and print vendors Attention to detail and accuracy Experience: [Add: e.g., minimum 2 years in a print/design studio or press] Job Details: Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on experience/skill) Job Type: Full-time Preferred: Prior experience working directly with a printing press or print shop Portfolio showcasing print work (books, packaging, brochures)
