We are seeking an experienced Body Shop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Body Shop department. The role involves managing repair activities, ensuring quality standards, optimizing productivity, controlling costs, coordinating with insurance companies, and delivering excellent customer satisfaction while achieving departmental targets.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all Body Shop operations, including denting, painting, and accident repairs.
- Plan and allocate work efficiently to technicians to ensure timely vehicle delivery.
- Monitor repair quality and ensure compliance with manufacturer and company standards.
- Review and approve repair estimates, job cards, and work orders.
- Coordinate with insurance companies for claim processing and approvals.
- Track productivity, efficiency, and departmental performance targets.
- Ensure effective inventory control of body shop materials, tools, and equipment.
- Handle customer concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Train, guide, and evaluate Body Shop staff to improve performance and productivity.
- Maintain workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and submit operational and performance reports to management.
Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in automobile body shop operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of body repair processes, painting operations, insurance claims, and workshop management.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and customer handling skills.
- Proficiency in repair estimation, cost control, and productivity management.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
