Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage and maintain efficient store operations for our Greenfield project. The role focuses on ensuring optimal stock levels of critical spare parts, maintaining high inventory accuracy, supporting workshop activities, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain minimum stock levels for critical machinery spare parts through regular physical verification and inventory checks
- Ensure store cleanliness, organized material arrangement, and safe storage practices
- Prepare job cards for workshop tasks and manage spare parts issuance with accurate record-keeping (15% KPI weight)
- Coordinate with the accounts team for billing documentation and with workshop teams for spare part requirements
- Maintain proper inward and outward entries of materials, including FSN analysis and stock cycle reporting (15% subjective KPI)
- Conduct regular stock checks and ensure up-to-date inventory accuracy (40% KPI weight)
- Maintain attendance, punctuality, daily to-do lists, and EOD reports while adhering to management guidelines (20% behavioral KPI)
- Support overall store operations, focusing on achieving 80% performance targets, including cleanliness and store management standards
Key Skills Required
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- High attention to detail for accurate stock tracking and reporting
- Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets for data entry and reporting
- Effective communication and coordination with cross-functional teams
- Basic understanding of store safety protocols
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Problem-solving skills to manage stock discrepancies and shortages
