Alkemy EdTech is a DPIIT-recognised, Hyderabad-based upskilling company training working professionals and students across India in AI and digital marketing. Most courses teach information — Alkemy trains capability.
The Role
You will convert warm, company-provided leads into course enrollments — no cold calling, no lead generation, no field visits. You counsel prospects and parents over phone and video sessions in their preferred language, and own each enrollment end to end, from first conversation to payment completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on assigned leads through calls and messaging
- Qualify prospects early and focus your effort where it converts
- Conduct consultative video counseling sessions with working professionals and parents
- Handle objections, negotiate, and close enrollments independently
- Complete payment and documentation formalities for every enrollment
- Maintain accurate, complete CRM records
- Report your numbers daily and monthly
Required Experience & Skills
- 2–4 years of proven experience in B2B or high-ticket B2C inside sales — mandatory. EdTech sales background strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated closing record with targets met or exceeded — you will be asked for your last 3 months' numbers, and we verify them
- Experience running consultative, value-based sales conversations — not script reading
- Fluent in Telugu and/or Hindi; working English for documentation and reporting
- Understanding of how Indian families make education decisions — you will often be counseling parents alongside students
- Strong CRM discipline and process adherence
- Quiet workspace, reliable broadband, and own laptop with camera
- Self-managed, accountable, and comfortable being measured purely on output
