Job Description – SAP CS Functional Consultant (5–7 Years Experience)

Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP CS (Customer Service) Functional Consultant with 5–7 years of hands-on experience to lead and support SAP CS processes across implementation and support engagements. The role involves configuring SAP CS solutions, supporting service operations, and working closely with business stakeholders to deliver efficient, scalable customer service processes aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support SAP CS processes across implementation, rollout, and production support projects.
- Configure and customize SAP CS modules including Service Notifications, Service Orders, Repairs, Contracts, Warranties, and Installed Base (as applicable).
- Analyze business requirements and design SAP CS solutions aligned with service management processes.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT for SAP CS configurations and enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SD, MM, PM, FI/CO) to ensure seamless integration of service processes with logistics, billing, and finance.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Support service execution processes including call handling, complaint management, service order processing, and field service coordination.
- Prepare and maintain functional documentation, configuration guides, test scripts, and user training materials.
- Support change requests, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives within the SAP CS landscape.
- Participate in SAP upgrades, rollouts, and S/4HANA migration projects related to CS processes.
- Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions to ensure effective system adoption.
- Work closely with technical teams (ABAP, BASIS) to design and deliver enhancements and interfaces.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience as an SAP CS Functional Consultant.
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP CS processes and configuration.
- Experience in end-to-end SAP CS implementations and post-go-live support.
- Good understanding of integration with SD, MM, PM, and FI/CO modules.
- Experience in service notifications, service orders, contracts, warranties, and billing integration.
- Strong understanding of service management business processes and KPIs.
- Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience with S/4HANA Service or SAP FSM (Field Service Management).
- Exposure to SAP Fiori apps for CS processes.
- Knowledge of ITIL or service management best practices.
- SAP CS certification.
- Experience in Agile project delivery environments.
