Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and target-oriented Collection Officer to manage customer collections and ensure timely recovery of overdue payments. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, negotiation, and field collection skills while maintaining professional relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect overdue EMIs and outstanding payments from customers.
- Conduct field visits for collections and customer follow-ups.
- Contact customers through phone calls and personal visits to resolve payment issues.
- Negotiate repayment plans while maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Achieve monthly collection and recovery targets.
- Update collection records and customer visit reports accurately.
- Trace customers in delinquent accounts and verify customer information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal guidelines, and regulatory requirements during recovery activities.
- Coordinate with the Branch Manager and Credit Team regarding overdue accounts.
- Minimize delinquency and improve portfolio quality.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in collections, recovery, banking, NBFC, or financial services. Freshers with good communication skills may also apply.
- Valid two-wheeler driving license and own vehicle preferred.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and mobile applications.
