Installs, repairs, and maintains piping systems, fixtures, and equipment related to water supply, drainage, and sanitation in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The role requires technical skills, safety awareness, and basic knowledge of plumbing tools and materials.Roles and Responsibilities
- Install and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and taps
- Read and interpret basic plumbing drawings and layouts
- Cut, measure, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools
- Detect and repair leaks, blockages, and faulty plumbing systems
- Install sanitary systems according to safety and building standards
- Test plumbing systems for proper functioning
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
- Follow safety rules and use protective equipment
Skills Required
