Job Overview:
LPL Financial is seeking an experienced Automation Operator to join the TOPS Team. The candidate should be driven with excellent communication and analytical skills. He or She must have experience at reviewing large data sets, finding patterns, insights, and anomalies while being adept at communicating those findings in concise, clear and easy to understand formats that the Product, Technology and leadership teams can use to form action plans.
In this position, you will strategize with the team to develop solutions where there will be a focus on automation management, communication, process improvement, robotics, quality control, data analysis, product management, machine learning, artificial intelligence, scalability and action-oriented intelligence. Our ideal candidate has the strong communications skills required to succeed as part of a dynamic cross-functional team within a SAFe - Agile based environment.
Responsibilities

Manage and monitor a fleet of digital workers to ensure reliability, performance, and alignment with business objectives.

Communicate critical escalations and insights to business stakeholders to support informed, executive‑level decision making.

Perform root cause analysis on operational issues and assess priority, risk, and business impact. Analyze data trends and leverage statistical reporting to drive insights, optimization opportunities, and operational decisions.

Exercise wide latitude in making independent recommendations with financial, client, and operational implications.

valuate system and workflow diagrams to identify automation and process improvement opportunities.

Build and enhance automation tools leveraging languages and technologies such as Java, Python, VBA, and Tableau.

Requirements:
- Hands‑on experience with AWS, SQL Server, Tableau, Python, VBA, and JavaScript.

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex logic‑based formulas.

Experience with WorkFusion or other RPA platforms (highly preferred).

Strong capability in aggregating and analyzing data from diverse sources.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
