CAD Designer (Freelance / Project-Based) – Hybrid
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated CAD Designer to support us with small design and product development projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to gain practical experience in product design and 3D printing while working on real-world projects.
Responsibilities
- Create and modify 3D CAD models and assemblies.
- Prepare models for manufacturing and 3D printing.
- Make design revisions based on feedback.
- Generate basic 2D drawings when required.
- Coordinate on small product development projects.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of CAD design.
- Experience with any one of the following software:
- Creo
- SolidWorks
- Fusion 360
- Basic understanding of 3D printing concepts (materials, print orientation, tolerances, etc.).
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to complete assigned work within agreed timelines.
Work Mode
- Hybrid.
- Most work can be completed remotely.
- Candidates may be required to visit the office occasionally for meetings, prototype reviews, or project discussions.
Compensation
This is a project-based opportunity. During the initial onboarding and evaluation period, there may not be a fixed payment. Once the candidate demonstrates the required skills and begins contributing to client projects, compensation will be provided based on the scope and value of each project. High-performing candidates will have opportunities to work on multiple paid projects as they become available.
