Job Summary:
Delhi Public School Bathinda is seeking a passionate, energetic, and creative Dance Teacher to train and inspire students across various age groups. The candidate should be skilled in teaching different dance forms, choreographing performances, and promoting cultural and artistic development among students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct dance classes for students of different grades.
- Teach various dance forms such as Classical, Folk, Contemporary, Bollywood, Western, and Creative Dance.
- Choreograph performances for school events, annual functions, competitions, assemblies, and celebrations.
- Identify and nurture students’ talent in dance and performing arts.
- Prepare students for inter-school, district, state, and national-level competitions.
- Maintain discipline, safety, and positive classroom management during practice sessions.
- Coordinate with teachers and school management for cultural activities and events.
- Develop lesson plans and ensure progressive learning outcomes.
- Encourage creativity, confidence, teamwork, and stage presence among students.
- Maintain records of student participation and performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Dance / Performing Arts or equivalent qualification.
- Certification or formal training in recognized dance forms will be preferred.
- Prior teaching experience in a public school environment.
