Job Title – Executive Producer (Punjab)

About the Role:
India News Punjab is seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Producer to lead the channel's output operations, manage editorial planning, and drive high-quality news programming. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of Punjab politics, regional issues, current affairs, and television news production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise daily news output, bulletins, and special programming.
- Plan and execute editorial strategies in coordination with the Editor and Output Head.
- Manage producers, reporters, anchors, assignment desk, and newsroom teams.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and impactful coverage of Punjab politics, governance, crime, business, and social issues.
- Oversee rundown planning, story prioritization, and breaking news coverage.
- Coordinate with field teams to ensure comprehensive and exclusive reporting.
- Maintain editorial quality, factual accuracy, and compliance with channel guidelines.
- Drive audience engagement through innovative programming and special shows.
- Monitor competitor channels, news trends, and emerging stories.
- Mentor and develop newsroom talent while ensuring smooth team operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- 8–22 years of experience in television news.
- Strong knowledge of Punjab politics, governance, elections, and regional affairs.
Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
