We are building a team of people who are disciplined, responsible, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment.
We are looking for an SEO Executive who can handle multiple client projects, work under deadlines, take ownership of assigned work, and consistently deliver work according to client and company expectations.
About the Role
As an SEO Executive, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of SEO activities for multiple client websites and Google Business Profiles.
This is not a role for someone who only knows SEO theoretically.
We need someone who can execute, analyze, report, troubleshoot, and improve.
You will be expected to work according to defined processes, complete assigned tasks within deadlines, maintain proper reporting, and take responsibility for the performance and quality of your assigned projects.
Salary & Incentive StructureFixed Salary
₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on experience, technical skills, practical SEO knowledge, and interview performance.
Performance Incentives
Additional monthly incentives may be provided based on individual performance and project results.
Incentive eligibility may be based on:
- Achievement of assigned SEO targets and KPIs.
- Improvement in keyword rankings and organic traffic.
- Local SEO and Google Business Profile performance.
- Quality and consistency of SEO execution.
- Timely completion of assigned tasks and project milestones.
- Successful management of multiple client projects.
- Quality of backlinks and off-page SEO activities.
- Accuracy of reports and documentation.
- Client satisfaction and project performance.
- Taking ownership of additional responsibilities and urgent requirements.
Important: Incentives are performance-based and are not guaranteed as part of the fixed salary. The incentive amount, eligibility, and applicable targets will depend on the employee's individual performance, project outcomes, discipline, and achievement of assigned targets during the respective month.
Exceptional performers may be considered for salary revisions, increased responsibilities, promotions, and higher incentive opportunities based on sustained performance.
Key Responsibilities1. On-Page SEO
- Conduct keyword research and search intent analysis.
- Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and content.
- Implement internal linking strategies.
- Optimize website content for target keywords.
- Identify content gaps and optimization opportunities.
- Optimize images, alt tags, and other on-page elements.
- Ensure basic technical SEO requirements are properly implemented.
- Coordinate with the development and content teams for required changes.
2. Off-Page SEO
- Plan and execute off-page SEO activities.
- Build relevant and quality backlinks.
- Manage business citations and directory submissions.
- Perform competitor backlink analysis.
- Identify relevant link-building opportunities.
- Maintain proper records of backlinks and off-page activities.
- Ensure off-page activities follow quality and ethical SEO practices.
3. Local SEO
The candidate should have practical knowledge of Local SEO and Google Business Profile management.
Responsibilities include:
- Google Business Profile optimization.
- Local keyword research.
- Local citation building.
- NAP consistency management.
- Local directory submissions.
- GMB posting and optimization.
- Monitoring local rankings.
- Identifying local search opportunities.
- Supporting review and reputation strategies.
4. Technical SEO
You will be expected to identify and coordinate the resolution of common technical SEO issues, including:
- Indexing issues.
- Crawlability issues.
- Broken links.
- Redirects.
- Sitemap issues.
- Robots.txt.
- Canonical tags.
- Duplicate content.
- Page speed issues.
- Mobile usability.
- Basic Core Web Vitals.
- Structured data/schema basics.
You should be able to identify the issue, understand its impact, and coordinate with the developer when technical implementation is required.
5. SEO Tools & Analytics
The candidate should be comfortable working with tools such as:
- Google Search Console.
- Google Analytics.
- Google Business Profile.
- Google Keyword Planner.
- Ahrefs.
- SEMrush.
- Ubersuggest.
- Screaming Frog.
- Other SEO tools used by the company.
You should be able to understand data and use it to make practical SEO decisions.
6. Competitor Analysis
- Analyze competitor websites.
- Identify competitor keywords.
- Study competitor backlink profiles.
- Identify content opportunities.
- Analyze local competitors where applicable.
- Develop actionable recommendations based on competitor research.
7. Content & SEO Coordination
Work closely with the Content Team to:
- Provide keyword requirements.
- Prepare SEO content briefs.
- Recommend content topics.
- Review content for SEO implementation.
- Ensure keywords are appropriately targeted.
- Identify opportunities for content updates and optimization.
8. Client Project Management
As an agency SEO Executive, you may be responsible for multiple client projects simultaneously.
You will be expected to:
- Understand the SEO requirements of each client.
- Maintain project-wise task lists.
- Complete monthly SEO activities within deadlines.
- Track project progress.
- Maintain proper documentation.
- Identify problems before they become major issues.
- Communicate delays or blockers immediately.
- Ensure assigned deliverables are completed according to the agreed plan.
Every client project must be treated with ownership and responsibility.
9. Reporting & Documentation
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate SEO documentation and reports.
This includes:
- Daily task updates.
- Weekly work reports.
- Monthly SEO reports.
- Keyword ranking reports.
- Backlink reports.
- GMB activity reports.
- Website audit reports.
- Client/project task records.
Reports must contain actual work and accurate data.
False reporting, fabricated activities, or manipulation of performance data will not be tolerated.
10. Deadline & Pressure Management
The Growing Graph operates in a client-driven agency environment.
You may have:
- Multiple clients.

The candidate must be comfortable working under pressure while maintaining quality.

11. Quality & Client Expectations
The SEO Executive will be expected to ensure that work delivered internally meets the standards expected by the client.
Before marking any task as completed:
- Check the work.
- Verify the implementation.
- Ensure the required deliverable has actually been completed.
- Check for errors.
- Update the appropriate reporting system.
- Inform the concerned manager if there is a blocker.
"Task completed" means properly completed — not partially completed or simply marked as done.
