Role Overview
This is not a role for someone who manages calendars. The Executive Assistant to the CEO at Artha Group is a position of real trust, real responsibility, and real impact. You will be the person the CEO relies on to ensure that every hour, every conversation, and every commitment is working toward something meaningful. You will think ahead, protect what matters, and make sure that what gets decided actually gets done. You will be polished, composed, and confident because this role puts you in front of founders, institutional investors, and industry leaders regularly. If you take pride in precision, thrive in high- pressure environments, and want to operate at the very centre of a Rs. 1,500 crore plus AUM venture firm, this is the role for you.
Role - Executive Assistant to the CEO
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Calendar and Time Management
-
Own the CEO's calendar as a strategist, not a scheduler. Every commitment on the calendar must earn its place, with a clear purpose, the right people, and a realistic time allocation.
-
Walk the CEO's day through with empathy and foresight. Understand what each meeting demands in terms of energy, context, and preparation, and build a schedule that can actually be executed, not just one that looks full.
-
Protect deep work time, anticipate conflicts before they arise, and resolve them quietly without pulling the CEO into the logistics.
-
Create a rhythm to the CEO's week that is structured, sustainable, and oriented around what matters most to the firm.
Execution and Follow-Through
-
Attend key meetings, take precise and actionable minutes, and own the follow-up without being asked. What is decided in the room must not stay in the room.
-
Track every open commitment, chase accountability across the organisation, and bring initiatives to a proper close. Progress without completion is not progress.
-
Be the person who removes friction. If something is stuck, find a way through it. If something is at risk of falling behind, flag it early and come up with a solution, not just a problem.
Communication and Stakeholder Management
-
Serve as a trusted, polished, and discreet liaison between the CEO and internal teams, founders, investors, and senior external partners.
-
Draft and refine high-quality communications, including investor updates, board correspondence, and priority emails that reflect the tone and calibre expected of the firm's leadership.
-
Represent the CEO in meetings when required, with the confidence and clarity to carry the room and ensure alignment is maintained.
-
Handle sensitive matters with absolute discretion. The trust placed in this role is not taken lightly, and neither should you.
Cross-Functional Coordination
-
Work across internal teams to drive execution on the CEO's priorities. You are the connective tissue that keeps the firm's most important work moving forward.
-
Identify bottlenecks early, escalate critical roadblocks with a clear perspective on resolution, and ensure the CEO has accurate, real-time visibility on what matters, without noise.
Travel and Event Management
-
Manage complex domestic and international travel with precision: visas, flights, accommodation, ground logistics, and schedule optimisation across time zones, all handled before the CEO has to think about it.
-
Anticipate disruptions and have contingency plans ready. Your ability to stay calm and solve fast is what keeps everything on track.
-
Organise high-profile investor meetings, speaking engagements, and firm events to a standard that reflects Artha Group's reputation.
Research and Decision Support
-
Conduct research, competitor analysis, and genuinely useful briefings, not exhaustive for the sake of it. Synthesise the signal, cut the noise, and present information in a way that makes decisions easier.
-
Stay current on industry trends, investment developments, and regulatory shifts so you can brief the CEO with context and confidence.
Executive Presence and Thought Leadership
-
Manage the CEO's professional presence on LinkedIn and relevant platforms with strategic intent and consistent quality.
-
Draft thought leadership content that is sharp, authentic to the CEO's voice, and positions Artha Group with authority in the market.
Who You Are
Experience and Qualifications
-
5 or more years of experience as an Executive Assistant or Senior EA to a C-suite executive, ideally in a high-growth, investment, or founder-led environment.
-
Exceptional attention to detail. You catch what others miss, you verify without being asked, and your standard does not slip under pressure.
-
Flawless written and verbal communication in English, with a sharp instinct for tone, context, and audience.
-
Highly methodical and process-oriented. You build systems that create order, document decisions that matter, and never let things fall through the cracks.
-
Proficient across productivity tools, including Microsoft Office, Google Suite and similar platforms.
-
Presentable, polished, and confident in professional settings. This is a front-facing role. You will regularly be in rooms with senior founders, institutional investors, and industry leaders, and how you carry yourself in those moments reflects directly on the firm.
-
Bachelor's degree required.
The Mindset We Are Looking For
-
Extreme ownership. You do not wait to be told what needs doing. You see it, and you do it.
-
Deep empathy for the CEO's world. You understand that every minute of the CEO's time has a cost to the firm, and you treat it accordingly.
-
Composure under pressure. High-stakes environments do not unsettle you. They bring out your best.
-
Strategic instinct. You are not here to manage logistics. You are here to make the CEO more effective, and you understand the difference between the two.
-
Genuine curiosity about venture capital, entrepreneurship, and high-growth business.
Compensation
-
Total Annual Compensation: Rs. 21,00,000
-
Fixed Salary: Rs. 18,00,000 per annum
-
Retention Bonus: Rs. 3,00,000, paid at the end of each year

Direct exposure to the strategic workings of a Rs. 1,500 crore plus AUM venture firm, working alongside the CEO on decisions that shape the firm's direction.
-
Unparalleled access to top-tier founders, institutional investors, and industry leaders, and the relationships that come with it.
-
A role where your precision, your judgment, and your presence are genuinely valued, and where the impact of your work is visible every single day.
