About the Firm
Sharma Law Chambers is a full-service legal firm pan India based, providing legal advisory and representation across a wide range of practice areas. To support our legal practice and the financial compliance requirements of our clients, we have a dedicated Finance Division at Coimbatore that manages accounting, bookkeeping, GST compliance, taxation, payroll, and other financial support services.
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Accountant to join our Finance Division. The ideal candidate will play a key role in handling accounting and tax compliance for the firm's finance vertical while supporting the financial requirements of clients and associated business entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts using Tally Prime.
- Prepare and file GST returns and ensure timely statutory compliance.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITRs).
- Record accounting transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
- Perform bank reconciliations and periodic account reviews.
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and supporting schedules.
- Coordinate with clients, auditors, and internal teams on accounting and taxation matters.
- Assist in internal and statutory audits, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Support the Finance Division in delivering accounting, taxation, and compliance services to clients.
Eligibility & Requirements
- B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, CMA Inter, CS Executive, or an equivalent qualification.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
- Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and accounting principles.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
