We are looking for a passionate and student-focused Career Counsellor to guide individuals in making informed academic and career decisions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a consultative approach, and the ability to understand students' aspirations and recommend suitable career paths.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one career counselling sessions with students and working professionals.
- Assess career goals, interests, strengths, and educational backgrounds.
- Guide candidates on career opportunities, courses, certifications, and higher education options.
- Provide information about industry trends, job market requirements, and career pathways.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with candidates and support them throughout their decision-making journey.
- Convert leads into successful enrollments and complete admission targets.
- Build trust-based relationships and ensure a positive counselling experience.
- Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions and candidate progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Management, Education, or related fields preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and active listening abilities.
- Ability to understand candidate needs and provide personalized guidance.
- Prior experience in career counselling, academic counselling, admissions, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
- Freshers with strong communication skills and a passion for mentoring are encouraged to apply.
