Job Summary
Onkar Films & Studio is seeking a Post-Production Editing & Technical Executive to support the post-production team in managing editing systems, software, media workflows, and technical operations. The ideal candidate should have a passion for technology, stay updated with the latest editing tools and AI-powered solutions, and possess basic hardware troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain video editing, uploading, and post-production software.
- Provide technical support to editors and post-production team members.
- Troubleshoot software-related issues and ensure smooth workflow operations.
- Assist in media management, file transfers, backups, and data organization.
- Monitor and maintain editing workstations and post-production systems.
- Stay updated on the latest editing software, AI tools, plugins, and industry technologies.
- Research and recommend new tools, software, and workflow improvements.
- Assist in uploading and managing content across various digital platforms.
- Coordinate with editors, creative teams, and management for technical requirements.
- Perform basic hardware diagnostics and coordinate repairs when required.
- Maintain records of software licenses, subscriptions, and system updates.
- Ensure data security and regular backup procedures are followed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in IT, Multimedia, Computer Applications, Mass Media, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems, software installation, and system maintenance.
- Knowledge of file management, cloud storage, and data backup processes.
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of AI tools used in video editing and content creation.
- Understanding of media codecs, formats, and rendering workflows.
- Experience working in a production house, media company, or post-production environment.
- Basic networking and internet troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with YouTube, OTT, and social media content workflows.
