What would you do?
About the role:
We are seeking a Manual QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in manual testing and Agile environments. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of quality assurance principles and be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery through comprehensive test planning, execution, and defect management. This role requires close collaboration with US-based teams and the ability to work during US business hours. Experience in the healthcare domain is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Skills and qualifications (mandatory):

Design, develop, and execute detailed manual test cases and test scenarios

Define test strategy and contribute to test planning activities

Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing

Ensure complete test coverage based on business and technical requirements

Identify, document, and track defects; perform root cause analysis

Validate bug fixes and conduct re-testing

Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)

Collaborate with developers, product owners and product support team

Provide clear test status reports and quality metrics
Skills and qualifications (preferred):

5+ years of experience in manual software testing

Solid understanding of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and best practices

Strong understanding of STLC and defect lifecycle

Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum environments

Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work in US time zones

Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation (preferred)

Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman (preferred)
