Job Summary
The Tele Caller is responsible for contacting prospective and existing clients to generate sales leads, promote company products (school uniforms, corporate uniforms, industrial uniforms, hospital uniforms, etc.), follow up on enquiries, and support the sales team in achieving targets.
Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Sales Support
- Make outbound calls to schools, colleges, hospitals, corporates, factories, and institutions.
- Generate new business leads for uniform orders.
- Explain product features, fabric quality, pricing, and customization options.
- Fix appointments for the field sales team.
- Follow up on quotations and pending orders.
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain regular follow-up with existing customers for repeat orders.
- Collect feedback regarding product quality and delivery.
- Handle basic customer queries and complaints and escalate when required.
- Maintain a positive company image through professional communication.
3. Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain updated customer database and call records.
- Prepare daily/weekly call reports.
- Track lead conversion status.
- Update CRM or Excel sheets regularly.
4. Coordination
- Coordinate with production, dispatch, and accounts teams regarding order status.
- Inform customers about delivery timelines and payment follow-ups.
Required Skills
- Good communication skills (Malayalam, English, Hindi preferred).
- Basic knowledge of sales techniques.
- Confidence in handling cold calls.
- Good convincing and negotiation skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Email, CRM).
- Target-oriented mindset.
Educational Qualification
- Minimum: Plus Two / Diploma / Any Degree
- Experience in telecalling / sales preferred (0–2 years)
