Location: Vikram Hospital, Madurai
Job Summary
The IVF Counselor is responsible for guiding and supporting patients undergoing fertility treatment. The role involves explaining IVF procedures, providing emotional support, coordinating with the medical team, and ensuring patients have a smooth treatment experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel patients and couples about infertility and IVF treatment.
- Explain treatment procedures, medications, and timelines.
- Provide emotional support throughout the treatment process.
- Coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Address patient queries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Work closely with fertility specialists, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and ethical standards are maintained.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience in IVF, fertility, or healthcare counseling is preferred.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply.
Skills Required
- Good communication and counseling skills.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Fluency in Tamil and English.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
