Hardware and Networking Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Hardware and Networking Engineer to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, network systems, and IT infrastructure. The candidate should have strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, servers, desktop support, and network security.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and peripherals.
- Monitor and maintain network performance (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi).
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Diagnose hardware and software faults and provide technical support.
- Manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and internet connectivity.
- Perform regular system backups and ensure data security.
- Maintain servers, network devices, and structured cabling.
- Install antivirus, patches, and security updates.
- Respond to network outages and hardware failures promptly.
- Document network configurations, maintenance activities, and issue resolutions.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement and repairs.
- Support CCTV, biometric, printer, and other IT infrastructure devices if required.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLAN, Routing, Switching).
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices.
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and system assembly.
- Understanding of network security and firewall management.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
Experience
- 3+ years (customizable based on requirement).
- Experience in IT support, networking, or hardware maintenance preferred.

Sample Salary Range (India)
- Experienced: ₹3 – ₹4 LPA (depending on skills and certifications)
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
