About the Role
Nevyati Engineering Consultancy LLP is looking for a skilled Colour Artist to paint and finish 3D printed murtis with precision and creativity. The role combines artistic talent with an understanding of surface preparation and finishing techniques specific to additive manufacturing outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 3D printed parts for painting (cleaning, sanding, priming, surface correction).
- Apply base coats, textures, shades, and protective finishes.
- Perform fine detailing of expressions, ornaments, and decorative elements.
- Match colors as per references, brand requirements, or client specifications.
- Work closely with sculpting and printing teams to achieve the desired quality.
- Identify print defects and support minor repairs before painting.
- Maintain painting materials, tools, and safe work practices.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in murti/statue painting or model finishing.
- Strong sense of color mixing, shading, and detailing.
- Ability to work on delicate, high-detail pieces.
- Patience and focus on high-quality output.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with resin, PLA, ABS, or similar 3D printed materials.
- Knowledge of primers, airbrushing, and protective coatings.
- Background in art, sculpture, or craft-based industries.
