Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate VMC/CNC machines according to production requirements.
- Load raw materials and unload finished components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine settings.
- Monitor machine operations and make minor adjustments when necessary.
- Measure and inspect finished parts using instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Ensure components meet quality specifications and tolerances.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Record production data and report machine issues to supervisors.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of CNC/VMC machine operations.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Understanding of machining tools and cutting parameters.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments.
- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
- Attention to detail and quality control.
