Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Automation Test Analyst with hands-on experience in UI, API, and workflow automation testing. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in modern automation frameworks and tools, a solid understanding of the STLC, and the ability to design and maintain scalable test automation solutions across complex digital platforms — including PIM/CMS systems, BPM workflows, and enterprise web applications.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web UI, API, and workflow layers using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).

Perform automation testing across Pimcore-based platforms, covering data objects, admin workflows, content management flows, and commerce functionalities.

Automate API test scenarios using Bruno, validating request/response payloads, status codes, authentication flows, and error handling across REST APIs.

Test and validate Camunda BPM process workflows, including BPMN process execution, task routing, decision tables (DMN), and process instance states via REST API.

Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar).

Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing using automation-first approaches.

Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to define acceptance criteria and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Maintain test documentation including automation strategy, test reports, and traceability matrices.

Review and contribute to test architecture decisions, framework enhancements, and coding standards.

Identify flaky tests, maintain test health, and continuously improve automation reliability and coverage.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

4–7 years of experience in test automation for web applications and APIs.

Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript and JavaScript for end-to-end UI automation.

Proficiency in API automation using Bruno or equivalent tools (Postman, REST Assured); experience with collections-as-code and version-controlled test assets preferred.

Hands-on exposure to Pimcore platform testing — including data model validation, workflow testing, REST API testing, and admin UI automation.

Experience testing Camunda BPM workflows — process deployment, execution, task management, and REST API validation.

Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle in Agile/Scrum environments.

Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Azure DevOps, etc.).

Familiarity with version control using Git and test execution in CI/CD pipelines.

Ability to work in Agile/Scrum methodology.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, k6).

Exposure to accessibility testing standards (WCAG).

Knowledge of Docker/containerized test environments.

Familiarity with cross-browser and responsive design testing.

Experience with mobile automation (Appium or Playwright mobile emulation).
