Their primary role is to inspect goods, test for defects, analyze data, and reject non-compliant items, ultimately preventing defective products from reaching consumers.Key ResponsibilitiesInspecting & Testing: Test raw materials, in-progress assemblies, and finished goods using calipers, gauges, or electronic measurement software.Defect Management: Identify flaws, discard substandard items, and document reasons for rejection.Compliance: Enforce industry regulations, safety standards, and internal company quality benchmarks.Reporting & Analysis: Record test data and compile inspection reports to provide actionable feedback to production and management teams.Process Improvement: Recommend adjustments to assembly lines and manufacturing operations to prevent future defects and maximize efficiency.
