Position Summary :
Site engineer
Key Roles & Responsibilities :
- Ensure that all operations and maintenance activities performed at Solar parks/ sites complies with OEM (original equipment manufacturer) requirements and warranties
- Execute the Operation and Maintenance activities at his Site and arranging resources to the personnel at site.
- Ensuring plant operation with minimum downtime and at prescribed performance ratios.
- Recording data for power generation and reporting the same to the upstream and clients.
- Maintaining the spare inventory at site for smooth operations. Also keep the tracking & requirement of materials.
- Follow up for repairs and replacement for any faulty equipment’s onsite.
- Carry out plant performance analysis with coordination of various departments within the organization.
- Preparing monthly summary for all the activities carried out and total yield obtained with respect to weather observed highlighting excess or shortfalls in targets.
- Periodically updating client with the status of equipment’s and maintenance activities carried out.
- Maintaining proper discipline and decorum at sites.
- Effective manpower handling and attendance management.
- Proper storage/disposal of waste generated.
- Responsible for reporting of accident/ incident.
- Responsible for organizational health and safety at plant level.
- Responsible for inspection, maintenance and repair of solar PV systems
- Identifies problems and develops corrective action plans
- Travel to project sites and vendor locations as assigned to perform all aspects of on-site installation, repair, maintenance, oversight, and modifications as required
- Provide timely written review reports from field operation, status, and constructive feedback to supervisor as requested.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and associated periodic meetings.
- Support and oversee component manufacturing and all involved processes from raw material and parts procurement to onsite delivery.
- Responds to emergency call outs
- Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders. Responsible for all required repairs, maintenance, and monitoring of all warranty claims.
- Responsible for generating Production/MIS reports, log reports etc.
Experience :
Min 1 to 3 years of experience in relevant field.
Education Qualification / Additional Certifications :
B.E.(Electrical)-1 to 3 Years Exp./Diploma+2 to 4 Years exp. in Electrical from a reputed engineering college.
