Job Overview
We are hiring a detail-oriented Civil Draughtsman to support our Transmission & Distribution (T&D) design team. The role involves preparing high-precision technical drawings for substations and power infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings in AutoCAD for substation layouts
- Develop drawings for:
- Cable trenches
- Fire walls
- Equipment foundations
- Draft RCC structural detailing and steel fabrication drawings for gantries/towers
- Modify and revise drawings based on project requirements and design updates
- Maintain accurate drawing registers and documentation for approvals
- Support site teams with design clarifications and updated drawings
Key Skills Required
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting – Mandatory)
- Ability to read and interpret substation/switchyard layouts
- Strong knowledge of RCC and steel detailing
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in EPC / Infrastructure / Power projects
