Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled SAP BPM (Process Orchestration) Consultant with strong expertise in legacy workflow technologies. The role involves development, administration, and support of SAP BPM-based workflows , ensuring stable operations and supporting transition to modern workflow platforms planned through 2027. Key Responsibilities 1. SAP BPM / Process Orchestration Design, develop, and maintain workflows using SAP BPM and BPMN standards Perform end-to-end workflow development , including process modeling, rules configuration, and integrationHandle administration and monitoring of BPM processes (errors, job failures, performance) 2. Development & Technical Implementation Develop applications using Java Enterprise Edition 6 (JEE 6) within SAP BPM environmentImplement business logic, services, and integrations for workflow processesTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues across BPM components 3. NWDS & NWDI Management Work with NetWeaver Developer Studio (NWDS) for development activitiesManage code lifecycle using NetWeaver Development Infrastructure (NWDI) Handle transport management, version control, and build configuration 4. SAP NetWeaver Java Stack Administration Support administration of SAP NetWeaver Java Stack Monitor system performance, logs, and job executionsAssist in system maintenance, patching, and issue resolution 5. Support & Maintenance Provide L2/L3 support for workflow-related incidents and service requestsPerform root cause analysis and ensure timely resolutionCollaborate with functional and technical teams for issue fixes 6. Transition & Modernization Support Support ongoing transition from legacy BPM workflows to new platforms (target by 2027) Assist in knowledge transfer, documentation, and migration planning Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills Strong experience in SAP BPM / Process Orchestration (PO) Good understanding of BPMN process modeling Hands-on experience in: NWDS (NetWeaver Developer Studio) NWDI (NetWeaver Development Infrastructure) SAP NetWeaver Java Stack administration Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition 6 (JEE 6) development Experience in workflow troubleshooting and monitoring tools Nice to Have Exposure to SAP BTP Workflow Management / Build Process Automation Experience in workflow migration or modernization projects Knowledge of integration technologies (REST/SOAP services) Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective stakeholder communicationAbility to work in support + enhancement environments Documentation and KT (Knowledge Transfer) expertise Experience 3–5 years of relevant experience in SAP BPM / workflow technologies
Key Responsibilities
1. To collaborate with senior consultants, conduct research, analyze data, and provide valuable insights to contribute to the success of client engagements.
2. To contribute to the preparation of client deliverables, including reports, presentations, proposals and participate in client meetings, workshops and presentations.
3. To coordinate with technical teams for pending RICEFs
4. To train others and prepare and deliver presentations for knowledge sharing amongst different teams in the project
5. To continuously develop skills and knowledge related to consulting methodologies and stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends.
