About the Role
We're looking for a curious, internet-savvy, and Reddit-active college student to help us grow Filo's presence across Reddit communities.
If you're someone who spends time on Reddit, understands how different subreddits work, knows Reddit etiquette, and enjoys engaging with online communities, this role is for you.
You'll work closely with our Growth and Marketing teams to build authentic conversations, discover opportunities, and help increase Filo's visibility among students worldwide.
What You'll Do
- Identify relevant subreddits for students, education, homework, exams, college life, and study communities
- Participate in discussions by posting valuable, helpful, and non-promotional content
- Monitor trending discussions where Filo can genuinely add value
- Research viral posts, student pain points, and community insights
- Help create Reddit-friendly content, comments, and discussion threads
- Track post performance and engagement metrics
- Stay updated with Reddit trends, internet culture, and student conversations
Requirements
- Current college student (any year or stream)
- Active Reddit user with a good understanding of subreddit culture and rules
- Excellent written communication skills in English
- Strong research and internet skills
- Ability to write naturally and engage in authentic discussions
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated
- Available to work from our Gurgaon office regularly
Bonus Points If You
- Have an established Reddit account with positive karma
- Moderate or actively contribute to online communities
- Understand Indian college student culture and education communities
- Have experience with community management, content marketing, or social media
- Are familiar with tools like Google Sheets, Notion, or ChatGPT
