Job Title: Logistics & EXIM Executive

Job Summary :-We are a pharmaceutical manufacturing company seeking a highly confident, proactive, and self-driven Logistics & EXIM Executive to independently manage our import and export operations. The ideal candidate will oversee the complete international supply chain, from freight negotiation and shipment planning to customs clearance and regulatory compliance. The role requires someone who has independently handled EXIM operations and can efficiently manage end-to-end logistics with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities :-
- End-to-End Import & Export Management
- Independently manage the complete documentation and execution process for all import and export shipments.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including Bill of Lading (BL), Air Waybill (AWB), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, Certificate of Origin, and other statutory documents.
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of international shipments.
- Freight Negotiation & Logistics Optimization
- Obtain freight quotations from shipping lines, airlines, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates and finalize logistics contracts.
- Optimize transportation costs while ensuring timely delivery and service efficiency.
Customs Clearance & CHA Coordination :-
- Coordinate with Custom House Agents (CHAs) for smooth customs clearance of import and export consignments.
- Monitor shipment movement and clearance activities to avoid delays, demurrage, and detention charges.
- Resolve customs-related issues promptly and efficiently.
Regulatory Compliance (DGFT & Customs) :-
- Ensure compliance with DGFT regulations, Foreign Trade Policy, Customs Act, IEC requirements, and other applicable import-export regulations.
- Handle documentation related to Advance Authorization, Duty Drawback, EPCG, and other export incentive schemes wherever applicable.
- Maintain complete and accurate statutory records for audits and regulatory inspections.
Cross-Functional & Vendor Coordination :-
- Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, Production, Accounts, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth execution of import and export activities.
- Liaise with international suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transporters for timely shipment execution.
- Provide regular shipment status updates to all stakeholders.
Problem Solving & Risk Mitigation :-
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks in logistics and international trade.
- Manage shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, customs queries, and vendor-related issues independently.
- Implement cost-effective logistics solutions while ensuring uninterrupted supply chain operations.
Required Qualifications & Skills :-
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related discipline.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in Import & Export Operations and International Logistics.
- Strong knowledge of import/export documentation, customs clearance procedures, DGFT regulations, Foreign Trade Policy, and international shipping practices.
- Experience in freight negotiation, vendor management, and CHA coordination.
- Good understanding of INCOTERMS, HS Codes, Letter of Credit (LC), and international trade documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments simultaneously with minimal supervision.
Preferred Candidate Profile :-
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical, API, Chemical, or Manufacturing industry will be preferred.
- Hands-on experience in independently managing EXIM operations.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
- Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive and ownership-driven approach.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
