The Art & Craft Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging art and craft lessons that foster creativity, imagination, and artistic skills among students. The teacher will create a positive learning environment, encourage self-expression, and organize art-related activities and exhibitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate art and craft lessons.
- Teach various art forms such as drawing, painting, sketching, coloring, paper craft, clay modeling, and other creative activities.
- Prepare lesson plans in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and aesthetic appreciation among students.
- Demonstrate the proper use and care of art materials and equipment.
- Maintain the art room, supplies, and student artwork in an organized manner.
- Assess student performance through projects, portfolios, and classroom participation.
- Organize art competitions, exhibitions, workshops, and display boards.
- Integrate art with other subjects wherever appropriate.
- Ensure classroom discipline and maintain a safe learning environment.
- Support school functions, annual day, cultural events, and celebrations by designing stage décor, props, and displays.
- Communicate student progress with parents during meetings and school events.
- Maintain records of attendance, assessments, and student portfolios.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and other school activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (BFA), Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Diploma or certification in Art & Craft is desirable.
- B.Ed. is preferred for school teaching positions.
Experience
- 1–3 years of teaching experience in a school (preferred).
- Freshers with strong artistic skills and teaching aptitude may also be considered.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
